Do I Need to Rewire My Entire House?
Usually, no. Modern smart devices connect via Wi-Fi, Zigbee, or Z-Wave — no new wiring needed for most systems. For premium audio, dedicated home theaters, or structured cabling upgrades, some wiring work may be recommended but is always optional.
Google Home, Alexa, or Apple HomeKit?
All three are excellent platforms and we support them all. Your choice typically depends on your existing devices and ecosystem preference. Most of our clients choose their voice assistant first, then we build the system around it for seamless compatibility.
Is My Smart Home Secure from Hackers?

Yes. We partner with GreenSky and Synchrony Bank to offer 0% APR financing for qualified homeowners on projects over $2,000. Many clients finance their smart home upgrade and offset the payment with monthly energy savings.
Will smart home tech increase my home's resale value?

Are there any monthly fees required?
No mandatory monthly fees. Our plans are primarily one-time installation and equipment costs. Monitoring and maintenance subscriptions are optional enhancements — you choose exactly the level of ongoing service you want.
Is NexHome licensed and insured in Arizona?

Information From Smart Home Devices: When we install and support your smart home system, certain devices — cameras, thermostats, sensors, and hubs — may transmit operational data to our monitoring platforms. This data is used solely to operate and support your system. We do not sell or share your device data with third parties for advertising purposes.
Automatically Collected Data: When you visit our website, we automatically collect certain technical information, including your IP address, browser type and version, pages viewed, time spent on pages, referring URL, and device information. Payment Information: We use PCI-compliant third-party payment processors (Stripe, QuickBooks Payments). We do not store your full credit card number on our servers.

Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of Akm Smart Home website at www.akmsmarthome.store and any services, products, or smart home installation and support services offered by AK Smart Home ("Ak Smart Home," "we," "us," or "our"), an Arizona limited liability company. By accessing our website or engaging our services, you agree to be bound by these Terms.
1. Services
Ak Smart Home provides residential smart home design, installation, integration, programming, monitoring, and support services. All services are subject to a written service agreement or proposal signed by both parties prior to work commencing. No verbal agreements constitute a binding contract for services.
2. Service Agreements & Quotes
All project quotes are valid for 30 calendar days from the date of issue. Prices may change after this period due to equipment availability, pricing changes from manufacturers, or changes to the project scope. A signed service agreement and deposit (typically 50% of project cost) is required to reserve installation dates. Quotes do not include applicable sales tax on materials unless specifically stated.
3. Payment Terms
For installation projects: 50% deposit is due upon signing the service agreement; the remaining 50% is due upon project completion, before our technicians leave your property. For monthly monitoring and maintenance subscriptions: billing occurs on the 1st of each calendar month via credit card on file. Invoices are due net-30. Late payments may incur a 1.5% monthly late fee. Returned checks are subject to a $35 returned check fee.
4. Cancellations & Refunds
Installation projects may be cancelled without penalty within 72 hours of signing the service agreement. After 72 hours, deposits are non-refundable but may be applied as a credit toward a future project within 12 months. Project cancellations after installation has begun may be subject to charges for labor performed and equipment ordered or installed. Monthly subscriptions may be cancelled at any time with 30 days' written notice; no partial-month refunds are issued.
5. Warranties
Labor Warranty: Ak Smart Home warrants all installation workmanship against defects for a period specified in your service agreement (90 days for Essential plan; 1 year for Connected Home; 3 years for Luxury Estate). This warranty covers re-installation or correction of work defects at no charge.
Equipment Warranty: All equipment is covered by the respective manufacturer's warranty. Ak Smart Home will assist in processing warranty claims but is not liable for manufacturer defects beyond facilitating the claim process. Extended equipment protection plans are available through our Elite Concierge monitoring plan.
What Is Not Covered: Warranties do not cover damage caused by: power surges, lightning, flooding, acts of God, misuse, unauthorized modifications, normal wear and tear, or damage caused by third-party contractors.
6. Client Responsibilities
The client agrees to: provide safe and accessible work areas during installation; ensure all homeowners association (HOA) approvals are obtained prior to exterior modifications; maintain broadband internet service with minimum 25 Mbps upload/download for monitoring features to function; promptly notify Ak Smart Home of any device malfunctions; and not attempt self-repair or modification of installed systems, as this may void the warranty.
7. Limitation of Liability
Ak Smart Home total liability for any claim arising under these Terms or any service agreement shall not exceed the total amount paid by the client for the specific service giving rise to the claim. Ak Smart Home shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including loss of profits, data, or goodwill. Ak Smart Home is not liable for losses arising from system downtime, internet outages, power failures, manufacturer product defects, or hacking/cyberattacks on third-party platforms.
8. Governing Law & Disputes
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Arizona, without regard to conflict of law provisions. Any disputes arising under these Terms shall be resolved by binding arbitration in Maricopa County, Arizona, pursuant to the American Arbitration Association's Commercial Arbitration Rules. Class action claims are expressly waived.
9. Intellectual Property
All website content including text, graphics, logos, images, and software is the exclusive property of AK Smart Home and is protected by U.S. and international copyright and trademark laws. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works from our content without prior written permission.
10. Changes to Terms
